Morgaine Drawing

I found some of my drawings, from years ago, today. I doodle and paint every now and again, when the mood strikes. I drew Morgaine the first time I tried to read The Mists Of Avalon. It's called Morgaine, the Priestess and it's my interpretation of her, from back in 2000, or so. It's not one of my best drawings, mind you. I just figured I would share, since it pertains to the book and all.

Okay, that's all...

Wow, that's beautiful!
I wish I could draw like that..but alas I was not gifted in that talent...
You say it's not your "best" work, but where I am sitting it looks pretty damn good. I would love to see more of your stuff. =)
Thanks for sharing. I love your interpretation of Morgaine.

I do have a few of my drawings online...(http://knit.princess.googlepages.com/myart)

My favorite medium...hard choice. I like watercolors for painting. I enjoy pencil and oil pastels for drawing/coloring.

That is just beautiful. I love how you captured her hair blowing in the wind...movement like that is very hard to capture realistically. I think I will give some drawings a go now that you have shared. Thank you for inspiring me :)

Lovely, Lana! As Knatty Knitter said, I especially like how her how her hair and clothes seem to be blowing in the wind.
