Those purses are going to be lovely! I LOVE the idea of making one for each of the woman.
I hope you take a picture of all of them together..

Oh mamasita, your project is just as lovely...and you're making two!! The color is gawggeous! What do you think you'll do with the tassle?

Too bad we can't have a fashion show at the end of the KAL! haha!!

Melanie: Thank you so much! Yes, I've actually surprised myself at such cleverness . . making them for the ladies. I guess maybe it's because I could see both of those colors in my head and rather than deciding, I made the decision to do both.

Brooke: Gracias, senorita! I'm not sure what I'll do with the tassle . . but I do know that it will not be as long as in the original pattern. I may also make the Icord four stitches instead of three.

I would love a fashion show and I will definitely take pictures of both purses together. Now that this is going so quickly, another color is coming to mind . . silvery white . . for the Lady of the Lake. I just saw some yarn at the shop that made me think of it. What do you think??

Loooove the idea for the silvery white- love the name too- I'm thinking of calling the pattern for the cowl that. What's that saying about great minds? hahaha!

Oh boy, now you guys got me going on this white/silvery thing. I'm going to do it!! When I'm done with the two I have (I think the crimson one will be done tomorrow, I've already cast on tonight for the lavender one) I will post both and then I'll take votes for the final color -- YES, I'LL DO FOUR! Why four?? Oh boy . . hold on to your seats for this one . . . for the four corners of the Earth.

Wow.

I didn't know I could be so . . . deep. *bigpooeatin'grin*

ooohhh good idea, but maybe you could do them based on the four elements. I actually wanted to do something that explored that, as it seems to be an intergral part of a lot of the spell-casting, etc. So red= fire, silver/white=air, lavender we are going to pretend is more bluey=water, so your last project in the four could be brown or green for earth. what you think??

great work so far, really pretty :)

As far as fashion show- if everyone wanted to send their finished pics to Brooke or I at the end we could do one loooooong post with all the gorgeous Finished Projects. What do you girls think?
